Free food and accommodation at HighRoad + Caravan
HighRoad + Caravan DC is a place where people from different backgrounds meet, help each other out, and make the everyday feel a little more interesting. The hostels are looking for volunteers who enjoy the small things: giving directions with a smile, setting up chairs for a movie night, or chatting with travellers over morning coffee. If you like being part of a team and don’t mind the occasional odd task, there’s a spot for you at HighRoad + Caravan DC.
[Original message from host: “Are you looking for adventure? A new, fun, vibrant setting? Do you want to learn more about hostels, how they operate, and how we WOW guests? Want to help with new projects? Running events? All while being apart of a community of like minded travelers? Then look no further.”]

Volunteering here means spending time in one of the most culturally diverse neighbourhoods in the U.S. Adams Morgan is filled with music, bookstores, murals, international food spots, and lively street corners. Volunteers often explore local cafés, get to know the community, and discover what makes this part of Washington D.C. so special. It’s a great way to experience the city through daily life, not just sightseeing.
