CELIM is an NGO based in Milan, dedicated to community development through cooperation and education in Italy, Africa, the Balkans and the Middle East. The volunteer will be involved in educational and learning activities with children, with a focus on interculturality.
- Location: Milan (MI), Italy
- Who: EU residents only, aged 18-30
- Duration: 10 months from December 2021 to September 2022
- Application deadline: 25th October
The volunteer’s tasks will be:
- Help organise and implement after school activities with children (11-14 years old);
- Host creative, artistic and cultural workshops with children;
- Offer support to foreign children and youngsters in different schools (6 -14 years old);
- Support global citizenship education, development and interculturality through many activities;
- Share your experience as a volunteer to promote European opportunities among young people;
- Support the communication team through the website and social media;
- Support the fundraising events and campaigns.
Volunteer’s profile:
- MUST be
- aged between 18 and 30 years old
- resident in an EU country
- available for the whole duration of the project
- motivated to
- work in an education and training programme with children and teens;
- interact with local people and live a deep cultural experience;
- with a responsible attitude;
- strong motivation to learn Italian.
Do you charge volunteers a daily or weekly fee?
No, we offer free food and accommodation
How many hours of volunteering help will you expect per week?
about 20-25 hours
