The forest service of Iceland recommends hugging the trees, while it is impossible to hug people. And we fully support it! In case you are not allowed to leave the house yet, we have collected several virtual tours of the most beautiful gardens in the world. At least, a feast for the eyes is provided! Or maybe a couple of ideas for your flower garden on the balcony😊

Buffalo gardens

1. Enjoy a tour in one of the oldest Botanical gardens in the United States, designed by architect Frederick Olmsted, who worked on the layout of Central Park in New York. There is also a Victorian-style greenhouse with tropical trees and flowers inside.

Trauttmansdorf castle

2. Take a virtual walk along the Sunny slopes of the medieval Trauttmansdorf castle. You can see what all 83 gardens, including a 700-year-old olive grove and bamboo forest, look like in spring, summer, and autumn without leaving your home.

Apothecary’s garden

3. Make sure to visit the “Apothecary’s garden” that was created in 1706 by the decree of Peter I. Back then, medicinal herbs were actually grown here for the manufacture of medicines, and botany was taught to medical students. Today, the garden has three exhibition greenhouses and more than 312-year-old Park.
