“In The Same Boat” is a Norwegian organization dedicated to cleaning up beaches along Norway’s coastline, with the goal of combating plastic pollution in the oceans. Their operations mainly take place between April and November, during which their boats, crewed by international volunteers, sail along the coast to collect marine waste and raise awareness in local communities about marine pollution.
