Are you an English writer with a passion for alternative lifestyles, budget travel, or community living? We’re looking for new voices to contribute to Voluntouring.org, a platform focused on sustainable travel, volunteering, and intentional living.
This is a great chance to earn a little extra while sharing your experiences or ideas with a global audience. If you’re enthusiastic about any of the following topics, we’d love to hear from you:
- Budget travel and volunteering abroad
- Eco-villages and community living (see examples here)
- Sustainable or minimalist lifestyles
- Traveling with kids on a budget
- First-hand volunteering stories
- Creative ways to explore the world with limited funds

✍️ Submission Guidelines
- Your article must be written in English. You don’t need to be a native speaker, but your writing should be clear and fluent.
- Payment depends on the length, originality, and complexity of the piece (e.g., a short 300-word article will not receive the highest rate).
- We reserve the right to lightly edit articles for formatting and SEO purposes.
- Your work must be original and not published elsewhere online.
- You’re welcome to include photos, but please only use images you have the rights to.
- Writers are encouraged to share and promote their articles on social media once published.
- Please wait for our confirmation before starting to write—we receive many submissions and may not be able to publish or pay for all.
- This is a freelance-style, non-permanent opportunity—ideal for digital nomads, slow travelers, students, or anyone who wants to share their story and earn a bit along the way.

Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, our project has faced significant challenges, and we are currently unable to offer paid writing opportunities.
However, we still welcome voluntary contributions from writers who resonate with our mission. If you’d like to share your stories, tips, or experiences to support our community, you’re very welcome to do so. Alternatively, we encourage you to explore online volunteering opportunities with other international NGOs.
